W starym kościele urządzono ekskluzywny hotel. Świetny pomysł i genialna aranżacja wnętrz. Ciepły, przytulny wystrój. Polecam zobaczyć.

Niets dan lof over dit hotel. De kamers zijn allemaal sfeervol en luxe ingericht, goede bedden en heel schoon. Het is een bijzondere ervaring om in deze prachtige kerk te slapen. Ook al staat deze midden in de stad, in de kamers is geen enkel geluid te horen. De medewerkers zijn attent en gastvrij. De 2e keer dat ik hier kwam lag er een persoonlijk briefje op mijn bed met de boodschap dat het hotel het waardeerde dat ik een 2e keer te gast was. Dat zijn de kleine dingen, die het verschil maken.

Converting a 150 year old church in the middle of a thriving city into a modern hotel must have been a great project. On the whole a great success, though some lack of professional attention to detail at the design stage can't now easily be corrected. For example: Lovely wide corridors but barely space for your knees in the WCs. Only one towel hook in the bathroom for a double room (that can easily be corrected, of course). Transparent glass everywhere e.g. see photo (rather than matt to waist level, say) so even the Dutch will draw their curtains at all times when in their rooms .... and the traditional hoteliers' problem of installing a beautifully effective airconditioning / heating system that few guests staying for less than a week are going to be able (to be bothered) to work out how to use. Wifi OK; breakfast lighting far too atmospheric (you don't want romantic effects at 8 am, you want to see what you are eating). ||So I started with the negatives for a change ... but the beds are great, showers excellent, the buffet breakfast superb (lovely crispy bacon - quite rare in the NL - great orange juice and a good range of coffee varieties on top of the eggy / yogurty / bready / cheesy etc. things you expect everywhere. Really excellent fresh fruit salad. Good late night bar service. We didn't try supper as there was lots of competition outside (but the menu looked god) ....||Car access has recently been made more difficult by the increased pedestrianisation of parts of Hoorn city centre that hadn't made its way into any SatNav system. With any luck by the time you arrive the hotel will have worked out how to inform guests what to do. (Most of our group had fun driving in circles and getting lost). ||To be recommended for a stay in Hoorn.

In the center of hoorn in an old church a nice and interesting hotel. Room is not big but has a great shower and nespresso, bed is good. work table is not big but you can get some work. Simple but tasty breakfast. Annoying is automatic light in toilet especially at night.

Cozy, quiet and very clean hotel located in an church that was transformed into a hotel in the historic town of Hoorn. The church creates a very special atmosphere. The breakfast was rich, very friendly staff. Rooms were very quiet with extremely comfy beds. Some rooms are a bit dark due to missing daylight. Parking at Parkeergarage 't Jeudje, 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel. Lots of restaurants in walking distance, only downside: most are closed on Mondays.

Un bel lavoro architettonico per ospitare camere moderne e comode. Le vetrate colorate sono originali e diffondono una luce speciale nei corridoi. Le camere, confortevoli, non hanno finestre all'esterno. Posizione ottima in una cittadina caratteristica, da visitare!

Hotel met uniek, fantastische , “ hemelse” sfeer, mooi afgewerkt, ruime kamer. We lazen dat de kamers gehorig zouden zijn, wij hebben zelfs tijdens een bruiloft geen enkele overlast ervaren, ook geen “buren” geluiden. Service aan de balie zeer goed, wij hadden als preferentie twee, enkele, dekbedden gevraagd, er lag een groot dekbed op ons bed. Na korte melding bij receptie kwam housekeeping direct 2 losse dekbedden brengen.|Het enige echte nadeel welk wij hebben ervaren was het feit dat je op geen enkele manier frisse buitenlucht op je kamer kunt krijgen, je hebt alleen de airco. Daar zullen ze toch echt iets aan moeten doen. |We begrijpen dat dit mede komt door de unieke bouw in de kerk, maar constructief moet er iets mogelijk zijn.|Goed bed, luxe afwerking vd kamer

Amazing in every way. This was our favorite hotel during our 10 days in the Netherlands—beautifully appointed rooms within a creatively transformed church. An architectural wonder. Rooms are quiet and super comfortable, though because of the design, most windows face into the hotel rather than outside. The central location makes this a perfect, luxe base from which to explore this charming town.
