I’m not even sure where to start…My wife and I recently stayed with Fred in May 2025, and we could not have asked for a better location, environment, and above all a better host. This was our first trip to Amsterdam, which naturally came with some anxious feelings. But as soon as Fred opened the door and welcomed us into his home, we felt at peace. He truly went the extra mile to make us feel safe and comfortable, and even took the time to show us how to navigate the city and see landmarks we didn’t even know we wanted to see. On top of that, the room has an amazing view of his garden and the river behind his home. The kitchen was well stocked with food, and the location was perfect for getting in and out of the downtown area. When we come back to Amsterdam (and we certainly will) we will be staying with Fred again!

We stayed in July 2024 and had the most marvelous trip. The sunsets from the terrace are hard to beat and the kitchen and apartment came well stocked. Fred is a marvelous host and will provide wonderful recommendations for your time spent in Amsterdam

Wir danken Fred für den sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in seinem sauberen, gemütlichem Appartment. Es war alles in guter Qualität vorhanden was wir brauchten. Sogar Bio-Qualität bei den Lebensmitteln und gut funktionierende Fahrräder, mit denen wir jeden Tag unterwegs waren. Auch seine kompetente Beratung im Rahmen einer gemütlichen Teestunde war erstklassig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
