I was there for Amsterdam Marathon 2024. Karin & Remco are exceptional hosts. They took so much care and even drove us to the start of the marathon.

If you are looking for caring environment, clean and nice rooms and a cool area to live in, go there. It is such a nice atmosphere.

Verrete accolti dalla professionalità e dal calore di Karin e Remco che amano fare dell’ospitalità la loro arte.
Le camere sono arredate con gusto e funzionalità; la colazione è superlativa. Abbiamo soggiornato 4 notti, e ogni mattina abbiamo trovato prodotti del territorio buonissimi e sempre diversi.
Grazie alla fermata del tram davanti casa si possono raggiungere le principali attrazioni con facilità e velocità.

I recently stayed here for Easter holidays and had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt warmly welcomed by the hosts, who were incredibly friendly and hospitable. The property itself was beautifully maintained and decorated with tasteful, cozy furnishings.

My forest themed room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

The breakfast served in the morning was delicious and freshly prepared, featuring locally sourced ingredients. The hosts were happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions and made sure that all guests were well-fed and satisfied.

The location was also ideal, situated in a quiet neighborhood and was very well connected to the city center via tram, bus or metro. The hosts were happy to provide recommendations for local restaurants and activities, and I felt like I had a truly authentic experience of the area.

Overall, I highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing, and enjoyable stay. The hosts Karin and Remco went above and beyond to make my stay memorable, and I can't wait to return in the future.

I would like to start with a big thank you to Karin, a truly amazing host. It was our honeymoon and my wife’s 40th birthday, we arrived to a bottle of lovely sparkling wine and a just married heart. Then at breakfast a birthday card and gift was at our table. Thank you Karin 🙏🙏 your home is beautiful with hospitality to match. I can only say you would not regret staying here absolutely loved our stay ❤️🙏

Karin was amazing from the day of arrival until the departure. The attention to detail and hospitality is genuine and heartwarming. The room is maintained at excellent quality and all the arrangements are to a very high standard. Highly recommend anyone to stay here who is looking for something more homely and personable.

Heaven in the East is an adorable bed and breakfast about 15 or 20 minutes from Amsterdam city center. Karen and Remco are great hosts. We stayed in the beach room. It was so comfy and cute. The decor and amenities were top rate. There is even a private outdoor space for morning coffee. We would highly recommend Heaven in the East.

Als ik Heaven in East in één woord moest samenvatten zou ik zeggen: gastvrij. Karin en Remco maken echt een belevenis van je verblijf door werkelijk aan alles te denken en je thuis te laten voelen.

Locatie is perfect, een gemoedelijke buurt en met een tramhalte voor de deur een ideale uitvalsbasis voor het centrum of andere bezienswaardigheden. In de kamer hoor je niks van de omgeving dus je kunt helemaal tot rust komen na een drukke dag.

Zij zetten de standaard voor andere B&B's met hun zorgzaamheid. Het ontbijt is onovertroffen en supervers zodat je opgeladen aan een nieuwe dag kunt beginnen.

Toen ik iets vergeten was, bood Karin aan om het bij mij te brengen elders in Amsterdam. Verwachtingen worden overtroffen!

My fiancé and I came to visit Amsterdam over a weekend for a concert and stayed at Heaven in East. We were blown away by the hospitality of the amazing hosts as well as the incredibly tasteful attention to detail and service in the room.
Also continental breakfast was delicious with freshly baked bread from the local baker.

It was also easy to grab nearby Donkey bikes for rent and reach inner Amsterdam in no time!

We can highly recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Amsterdam – we will definitely return!
