Wat een gezellige mensen!!

I stayed with my girlfriend for two nights. I must say that this has been one of my most enjoyable bed and breakfast experiences I have ever had. First and foremost the location is simply Ideal. It is tucked away and quiet, but walking distance from the center of the city. Walking the opposite direction one quickly arrives to a beautiful landscape of fields and canals. The room is vary spacious and comfortable, and with its decoration it feels very homely. The kitchen is small but is stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful dinner.

However the highlight must be Dorian herself. She is such a hospitable and friendly host. When we arrived the fridge was stocked with a small breakfast for the next morning. She was very helpful when we had questions about Haarlem, and directed us to where we could best rent bicycles for the day. She even drove us to the train station on our morning of departure! The whole experience was wonderful and recommend the Bed and Breakfast.

Very sad experience! We had booked the accommodation through Airbnb for months and it has now been canceled on the grounds that the accommodation could be rented out for an even higher price on that date. In the official cancellation, however, it is of course pointed out that the owner is too old to receive guests in 2025. The complaint was made to Airbnb to have this property blocked. The chat history about the real reason exists. Since we relied on the booking, we now have to look for new accommodation on short notice. How greedy can a person be?
