This was the most disgusting food that I have had in a long time. The jumbo fried shrimp still had the shrimp shell underneath the fried skin. What’s the point of fried shrimp if you have to peel off the shell which also peels of the fried part? The pot roast and Mac and cheese was swimming in grease and had no taste at all. The dressing was so dry that it crumbled into crumbs and I tried to eat it with a spoon but it tasted like someone dumped the entire bottle of sage in it. The yams were not sweet at all. I couldn’t eat anything but the string beans and the only reason why I got that was because they didn’t have the greens ready for the Uber eats driver. I usually just take my loss but this food was so bad that I had to leave a review. It as completely inedible.I threw it in the trash.

So I went here for the first time using the Too Good to Go app (also for the first time). First off, it was a great amount of food. They usually price a meal like this at $20, which is honestly a little bit much, but we got it for $4.99, which was an INCREDIBLE deal. The taste? Not bad at all! Mac and cheese was cheesy and creamy. Fish was crispy and well seasoned, a wee bit salty for my taste, but not horrible in the least. The sweet potatoes, however, were honestly a little meh. But again, not terrible. I would definitely go back thru app, and I think I will probably be back as a regular customer so I can experience more of what they have to offer.

This is my 3rd time driving to the place and the only time they have been open despite the hours listed online and the door. I came about 2 - 2 1/2 hours before closing and they were out of most of the items. I ordered vegan catfish dinner vegan mac and cheese and vegan chicken alfredo as the sides. The food was spicy even things that shouldn't be the mac and cheese had a kick to it. Might be great for someone who likes spicy seasoning but ridiculous for those that don't. The vegan catfish tasted as of it were refried in old oil. It was dry and spicy! Not edible. The sides were good but had an unnecessary kick that just took away from the dish.

Also ordered vegan donuts they were sooooo sweet.

I’m sorry but any one that is commenting that this food is good has to be family I went there today and I’m sorry but this is the worst food in my life! Like seriously me and my family went there because they had vegan options because my husband don’t eat meat so we were trying a new place they we’re very pleasant upon entering and Helped any way they could to accommodate my husband that don’t eat any kind of meat even plant based anywho we were very hungry and ordered a lot of food because they love to give my black owned business my money well my daughter ordered gumbo, and greens two sides. I ordered a dinner the pork roast dinner and that comes with two sides so I picked greens and Mac and cheese and then I added a side of candy yams and peach cobbler. My husband ordered linguine with a side of green beans, vegan Mac and cheese, and also some candy yams then after ordering all that we decided to also get a side of banana pudding and slice sweet potato pie. Ok now I can honestly say nothing that I tasted was good the greens had some sweetness to it the Mac and cheese was sooooo dry I thought it was vegan and called to confirm it wasn’t because it looked just like his vegan Mac and cheese the was dry and not good my daughters gumbo was soooo spicy and had no taste but spice she couldn’t eat it and she likes hot stuff the peach cobbler was nothing but bread no peaches and sooo sweet I couldn’t swallow! The candy yams were still kinda hard and kinda dry and tasted just like the peach cobbler I couldn’t swallow that either oh yea my dinner came with a roll that had some kind of sugar cinnamon glaze . I then called because I didn’t want to write a bad review and she first ask me didn’t I come like a hour ago and I explained no more like 20 to 30 minutes ago I was honestly sitting here thinking how can I Nicely call and tell them that I did not enjoy the food because let’s be honest no one wants to hear that but after tasting the peach cobbler I had enough and had to call well I was explaining to her what I didn’t like about the food and she hung up then called 2 mins later 4 times back to back at that time I don’t want to talk because I might be rude you just hung up in my face and when I didn’t call back to ask was the line disconnected I get back to back calls no you officially messed up I will never be back ever worst food I have ever tasted wow my people we gotta do better I spent all ver 55 dollars in there ‍♀️EDITED HERE RESPONDS TO OWNER Now why would I hang up the phone in the middle of talking and telling you what is wrong with the order does that make any sense and I called because I was going to give y’all the benefit of a doubt I figured if this is family owned maybe that’s how you like your food but when I got to the peach cobbler that I had to spit out I had mad up my mind I will call and tell you how I feel instead of make a nasty review I figured we could work it out but when I got the phone hung up in my face I was done ! Who wants to talk to someone like that and if you was gone refund my money you could of been done that, but you didn’t and just because I decided to call after 30 mins definitely don’t mean I took a hour to eat it took me like 8 mins to get home 3 mins to wash my hands and sit down to eat to be completely disappointed sorry the food was not good at all then when I called I got hung up on and yes I called 3 times first to ask if my Mac and cheese was vegan also because it was so dry and it looked exactly like the vegan Mac and cheese then I called back to ask if it was family owned because we figured that’s how y’all must like y’all food but it came to the peach cobbler and I got all bread and I searched for peaches thru that thing and found one really small one like let’s be serious me and my family had really good intentions on coming here. No one randomly comes into a random restaurant and spend 55 dollars on food they don’t plan on enjoying period! If something or some of it was good I would say so but no one in my family enjoyed there meal not one of us everything was hot ?

I was in your restaurant yesterday. My order was greens fish ribs dressing string beans and potatoes. My food was horrible . Did you open cans? Food was not good. You put hot sauce on my fish. You told me 30 minutes for the dressing. Red flag my fault how can you cook in 3⁰. Minutes $46

I don’t know if things got better but I went twice for the vegan food and it was so nasty. I have to be honest. Seriously it really was. I don’t know if they were rushing and burning stuff but?

Make this your go-to caterer. The food is always top-knotch! Your guests will not be disappointed! The food is seasoned and flavored so well. The macaroni is creamy and cheesy. I’ve used her services on more than one occasion and each time - the food is wonderfully amazing. We have had the mango chili wings, dirty rice, strawberry stuffed with cheesecakes, taffy apple grapes, veggie stir-fry, and salad. Affordable and delicious! She does a very nice and professional set-up. 5 stars ⭐️!

I had the ribs ,macaroni and string bean and potatoes. First sign there was no utensils or napkins in the bag. I proceeded to taste the ribs that were underseasoned and overly spiced with pepper. The potatoes were also overly spiced so much so that I had to get milk to cool my mouth!! I couldn't enjoy my food and I feel this was a waste of money!!!I gave it 1 star based on presentation!
