Wir hatten vier Übernachtungen gebucht von Donnerstag bis Montag. Die Lodge ist traumhaft. Sehr ruhig gelegen und super toll eingerichtet und ausgestattet. Und der Parkplatz ist im Preis inbegriffen. Avoid This Place at All Costs – Worst Experience in 10 Years Visiting Holland

Where to even begin? If you're considering booking this hotel for F1 or any major festival—don’t. They exploit event dates to tack on hidden fees, including a €400 deposit that, according to one staff member, isn’t normally charged. That alone reveals discriminatory and inconsistent pricing practices.

Upon arrival, we were blindsided. No prior notice about the deposit, and no one gave us even the most basic information: no Wi-Fi details, no house rules, and no instructions on the AC, which—by the way—never worked the entire stay. We reported the issue multiple times, yet no one ever came to fix it.

The property doesn’t offer standard supplies or toiletries either. You can supposedly purchase these onsite, but that’s a joke. One staff member stood on the phone for 20 minutes ignoring a line of 20+ guests, doing absolutely nothing. It was pure chaos, and it wasn’t just us—numerous guests were openly upset.

What’s worse? The entire operation seems to be run by inexperienced teenagers who are clearly unequipped to handle even basic tasks. It’s shocking how little oversight or professionalism exists here.

We booked a 3-bedroom unit, only to find 2 actual bedrooms and a cramped crawlspace with a bed jammed inside. Calling that a 3rd bedroom is laughable. It’s more like a panic room.

To top it off, we were given the wrong room key and walked into someone else’s villa. No escort, no directions—just complete disorganization.

At checkout, again, no guidance. A staff member snapped at us about dishwashing and cleanup rules we were never told about. Her attitude? “These are the rules, yes?!”—as if we were supposed to just magically know.

And then the real nightmare began: we were promised our full deposit refund, only to be told days later that they lost everyone’s credit card info and now needed us to email our banking details over an unsecured line. Let that sink in—gross negligence with sensitive data, and no accountability.

No apology, no compensation—just a cheap soap bar as a “thank you.” We’re still fighting to get our money back, with a new excuse every day. I’ve since reported them to the VVV (Dutch Tourism Board) and the European Anti-Fraud Committee for possible discriminatory and fraudulent practices.

This has been, without question, the worst experience I’ve had in Holland in over a decade. I will be contacting festival organizers, artists, and patrons to ensure no one else is taken advantage of like this again.

Avoid this place at all costs. You’ve been warned.

Liebevoll und wertig eingerichtet, um sich wohlzufühlen. Es ist an alles gedacht und tipptopp sauber (Mängel aus den anderen Bewertungen können wir nicht bestätigen). Herzliche Gastgeber.
Ruhig gelegen - Strand, Zentrum mit Restaurants und Supermärkten und der Bahnhof (Halbstundentakt nach Amsterdam (30 Minuten) und Haarlem) in maximal 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
Wenn es stark regnet, können große Tropfen aus den Bäumen hinterm Haus laut aufs Dach prasseln und es braucht einen festeren Schlaf.

Heruntergekommene und dreckige Unterkunft. Die Fotos entsprechen nicht den Tatsachen. Verklebte Gegenstände, braune Flüssigkeit am Kühlschrank, Schimmel und Kalk im Badezimmer, Flecken auf dem Sofa und in der Aussenlounge, sowie dreckige Fenster. Konnten nicht dort übernachten, hygienisch bedenklich.

Entzückend kleines Häuschen. Liebevoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Wir haben zu dritt übernachtet ,das war richtig gut.
Die Vermieter sind super nett.

Wenn es zum Auenthalt käme, nachdem ich gezahlt hatte wurde das Haus storniert. Urlaub geplatzt, Geld futsch. Lasst lieber die Finger davon!
