Very convenient for wedding at Teylers Museum and town centre. ||"Compact" 2 room apartment so best for 1 or 2 people for only 1 or 2 nights. That said had all the amenities you might need and a good view of the canal from surprisingly comfy chairs. Very steep stairs so not suitable for children or anyone with difficulty walking. Anne Marie and Pieter were very helpful both via email prior to arrival and phone on arrival day when we called to arrange key collection (not a hotel so no reception) - even offering to collect us from the station if we had luggage.

Turfhuys aan het Spaarne was one of the most unusual places I’ve ever stayed in. It’s a 3-storey apartment with a steep staircase in a 250-years old building. Despite its venerable age all facilities run smoothly. The apartment is freshly renovated, clean and comfortable. There’s a tiny entrance hall with a toilet on the ground floor, a sitting room on the second and a bedroom with a bathroom on the third. My favourite was the second floor with inviting armchairs and mesmerising view of Spaarne river. We had no problems with getting in. Though the owners were out of Harlem we got the keys from their friend who was very welcoming and easy to communicate. Extra advantage was a fabulous fish restaurant next door, the best we’ve spotted in Netherlands. I would definitely recommend this place for couples looking for something unusual and memorable.

Our host, Pieter met us at the apartment and showed us around. We arrived early and left our luggage locked in the entrance hall. Pieter took us to the nearby multi storey car park and provided a pass for our stay which cost us 10 Euros a day. It took about 2 minutes to walk back to the apartment from the car park. We unloaded and loaded our car outside the apartment where we parked on the pavement for a very short time!||||This compact apartment is on 3 floors accessed via steep wooden steps - small luggage is really essential here! There is a clean, functional toilet on the ground floor. On the 21st floor there is a little kitchenette with a small fridge, kettle and microwave. There is a small table with 2 chairs for dining and two unusual-shaped chairs to watch TV or relax. They were surprisingly comfortable for short periods of time. A sofa would have been nice but there is not a lot of room for one! Thank you to Pieter for the welcoming vase of tulips in the room! TV has UK stations and there is a Bluetooth soundbar which worked with our iPad music.||||The bedroom and bathroom is on the top floor which is accessed via steep wooden steps. Beds were very comfortable - 2 single beds pushed together with separate duvets. There was no drawer space for clothing and just a walk-in cupboard with hanging space. We managed for 3 nights but it would have been awkward for a longer period. Drawers or a dressing table would have made the bedroom more functional.||||WiFi worked well throughout the apartment. ||||We managed fine but it would be difficult for less mobile people to negotiate the stairs to the 1st and 2nd floors. ||||The apartment is delightful and full of character - it was a turf drying premises which has been lovingly converted into an apartment - it is old fashioned and very charming. For anyone looking for somewhere central, near to the town, who doesn't mind steep steps, we recommend Turfhuys!

到荷蘭自由行，以休閒安全為目標，不希望舟車勞頓，所以選了接近阿姆斯特丹和機場的哈倫(Haarlen)住了五晚，以此為基地，再坐公車到荷蘭其他城市和景點。||這間富有荷蘭特色的小屋，樓高三層，面向小運河，據說已有二百多年歷史。小屋以前是市集內放泥煤(peat)的地方，剛在2015年翻新。||地下多數用來存放什物和單車。上樓梯後是小廳，有兩張單人梳化、電視、餐桌、微波爐、咖啡機、小冰箱、碗碟和刀叉，可以自行到超級市場買食物做簡餐。最上層是睡房，有雙人床、浴室和洗手間。屋內共有兩條樓梯，上上落落很有趣。屋內提供茶包和咖啡膠囊，不提供早餐或小食。||小屋的景觀不錯，位置方便，附近有很多餐廳，購物街和超級市場也不太遠。由哈倫的車站慢走，約需15分鐘到達。||我們要感謝屋主Pieter，他的英語很好，也很樂意協助我們，介紹附近景點和好吃的餐廳。回程那天，他主動詢問要不要開車送我們去機場巴士站。||住在這兒，清潔舒適，令人有家的感覺。在哈倫遇到的人很友善，生活閒適，治安又好，確實是一個慢活的好地方。

I don't think you could stay in comfort in a 550 year old turf (peat) house anywhere else. Totally unique. Very comfortable especially being able to people watch out the large living room window. |The host was very helpful with advice and suggestions. |Great location. |Really only suitable for couples without mobility issues as the staircases are narrow and steep.

בניין צר של 3 קומות מקומת קרקע+שירותים,קומת ביניים עם מטבחון ופינות ישיבה ומסך טלויזיה, קומה שלישית חדר שינה וומקלחתושרותים משופצים מודרנייםאחלה של מקלחת, לדירה עצמה אין חניה צמודה למרותשהבעלים טוען שיש, זה במרחק של 10-15 דק הליכה יש רחוב שנקרא TEYLERSTRAAT||שם החניה היא בחינם תראו שלט עם P גדולה כאשר עליו יש פסים אפורים , זה מקום חניה בחינם.||||בעל הדירה הציע גם מקומות חניה קרובים יותר ב10 יורו ליום.||||יש מצד ימין להוסטל מרחק הליכה של כ 1 קמ לערך חנות סופרמרקט ALBERT , וכמו כן חנויות סלולר לקניית סים מקומי של VODAFONE וכו. חנויות בוטיק כמו כן חנויות מסחריות, בהמשך לכיוון המרכז אפשר להגיע לחצר ולכנסייה הגדולה ST.BAVO בשוק גרוטה GROTE MARKET ומםכ 10 דק הליכה אפשר להגיע לתחנה מרכזית ולרכבת.||||סהכ הארלם אחלה מקום למי שרוצה שקט ורוגע לעומת אמסטרדם האקטיבית , כמו כן אפשר להשכיר סירות מנוע לשייט עצמאי ב25 יורו לשעה, או שייט רגיל בסירה די קרוב לדירה , אותו מחיר בין אם זהעצמאית או בסירה עם עוד אנשים, השייט העצמאי נקרא SPAARNE CLUB .||||שיהיה טיול מהנה!
