Ok l’emplacement est phénoménal. Mais l’intérêt de ce logement s’arrête là quand on n’a pas une vue canal. Et il y a des points franchement négatifs qui mériteraient d’être relevés par les autres utilisateurs, bien trop complaisants. |- pas de télé ni de réseau wifi malgré toutes nos tentatives. La propriétaire nous dit qu’elle n’y peut rien et d’aller voir le site du réseau. Nous ne trouvons pas d’infos.|- 4 étages à monter. Au terme d’une journée de ballade vous le sentez. |- Insonorisation insuffisante que ce soit en ce qui concerne les sons de l’extérieur (la gouttière de l’enfer, vous verrez) ou de l’intérieur (les voisins)|- Débit de l’eau de la douche franchement insuffisant.|- Sensation de parquet sale dans la chambre |- Un peu déplaisant de laisser ses bagages dans le couloir le jour du départ.|- Pas de service de chambre. |Il y a du positif, les douceurs à manger et la gentillesse de l’accueil. Cela étant rien, absolument rien à part l’emplacement ne justifie le prix.

In walking distance to all the usual attractions, cafes and pubs. The room was also very clean and there is house keeping everyday. It includes a fridge, microwave and a kettle and a few plates if you want to bring food back. It also has Netflix and free wifi. The host was very welcoming and greeted us when we arrived. Thank you for a great experience!

This was an amazing little find. The view from the room is beautiful. Small but every thing you need is there. The bathroom is modern great shower. Very clean. When we arrived it was late evening and it was hot. What a lovely thought by the owners to leave water and two beers in the fridge. Also crisps. crackers and pate. The day after we came back to fresh flowers and a lovely box of biscuits. When I return this will always be where I stay if it’s available thank you. Nanda and Vincent x

We stayed three nights here this week at Zwanestein Canal House and cannot rate it highly enough. Although the stairs are a tackle with suitcases (but you are warned before booking!), the room itself is lovely, clean and modern - with a colour 'themed' room and cleaned daily. There are also some great amenities, such as a Nespresso machine with complimentary coffee pods, a television with Netflix, complimentary prosecco in the mini fridge and a variety of teas. Additionally, the location is also brilliant, which makes it a very reasonably priced stay, as only a 20 minute walk to the train station and a 10 minute walk to the centre. ||||My only criticism would be that the hairdryer is a bit of hazard - during our stay it sparked and smoked during use so i would not advise! And the lack of shower curtain can make things a little awkward if you are not travelling with a partner. But overall, a wonderful stay!

We stayed for 3 nights in this beautiful place overlooking the canal. We really loved the position, quiet but close to everything. We also appreciated the patience and kindness of the owners who welcomed us even very late in the middle of the night. We found the place clean and tidy, furbished with all that is needed. We would definitely choose it again and we suggest it with no doubts.

First of all I would like to thanks anand the owner of this apartment she was very friendly and very respectful and very helpful, the apartment is so clean and organized and the location with the view directly on the canal ❤️ breathtaking view we enjoyed our 6 nights staying and its few steps away from the M station, and whenever you walk from the apartment you will find many restaurants and cold markets. I recommend this apartment

So we visited amsterdam this weekend. It was a last minute booking so the room was quite pricey but I'm sure you could get it cheaper in advance. Great location just at the bottom of the main town but nice and quiet. Close to bars, coffee shops, bike shops etc . ALOT of stairs but it's a traditional Dutch house and so beautiful it's worth the workout! Lovely friendly owner|I would definitely recommend this canal house and will be planning a return trip.

Scott and I were lucky to have found this lovely B&B for our stay in charming Amsterdam beginning April 7, 2019. The view from our window overlooking the canal and Amstel was breathtakingly spectacular both in the morning and at night. The room was well appointed and comfortable and within walking distance to just about everywhere! Thank you Nanda for making our time in Amsterdam so memorable.
